Founder's House Inn in uses Capellman.com to bolster its business
Sandra and Norman Palmer, owners of the Founder's House Inn in New Market,
finally heeded the advice of a good friend and looked into getting a Web site
built for their business.
After some tweaks to the original mockup, which the designer was happy to oblige, the site was launched for the world to see.
It didn't take long for Sandy and Norman to see results. Sandy received a phone call from Santa Monica, Ca. The caller became the Palmers' first customer to come from their new Web site that they pay just $15 per month to host.
A few weeks after that customer's visit, Sandy Norman were delighted to hear that their B&B was featured in the Los Angeles Times — as well as several other newspapers that also carry L.A. Times content — as part of a travel section feature on the Frederick Maryland area.
That one article, from one person who found their site on the Internet, made all the difference.
"I can barely keep up with the registrations," Sandy Palmer said with glee about what their Web site has meant to their business. "We have to pick which weekends we want to turn customers away."
